Sharing on your social channels makes it easy for your networks to learn about what you are doing and why you are doing it, in a fun and engaging way.
Check out the social media toolkit for best practices, sample posts you can use, and downloadable social graphics. We encourage you to post and re-post on your social pages leading up to the big day!
The Social Media Toolkit includes a guide for when and what to post. Use the reference calendars like the below to follow along with Team IMPACT posted content, or share moments from throughout your All In 5K experience on your own timeline.
to recruit friends, family, and coworkers to your team
to ask for donations
to share your motivation
- Below is an emails template to get you started! Use this template as a starting point—then add or delete content relevant to you—or write your own from scratch. Sharing your personal inspiration, or the stories and videos in this document and on our channels, will help others connect more closely to the Team IMPACT mission.
or send a text message
- Share a link to your individual or team page. It's easy to register or donate on mobile—and only takes a minute. Sending group texts can get conversation and planning started. What better way to gather with friends than for a great cause?
- Share your 5K journey highlights post event. Take lots of pictures throughout your 5K and with your Team IMPACT swag and materials. You can post a highlight reel of your journey after the big day to thank donors and teammates and encourage additional donations.
- Thank your donors and teammates. Whether participating as an individual or team, it's important to send an email, share a post, or send a text to thank all donors who supported you. You can do this right from your fundraising page or using the email template below. Customize this template to speak to your network, or create your own version from scratch. If you were a team captain, be sure to share final team fundraising results with your teammates, and thank them for joining you. Consider hosting a post-event party with teammates and donors.
- Share your fundraising results with your donors. Keep your network updated with your 5K fundraising progress. Share final fundraising results or ask potential supporters to close the gap to meet your fundraising goal—even if you reach it after October 1.
- Continue your connection to Team IMPACT. We hope your Team IMPACT involvement spans far beyond event day! Sign up for Team IMPACT emails and follow our social channels for upcoming events and ways to stay involved.
