CREATING MORE THAN JUST MOMENTS
2022 was a year for the books. With dedicated supporters like you by our side we were able reach incredible milestones. We not only met but exceeded our fundraising goal, raising $8.3 million dollars to support the children, families, and athletic communities this program touches. Child and family referral goals far exceeded our benchmarks and our incredible match-up team made 440 new matches across the country. These new matches led to new 11,000 new student-athletes joining our mission, impacting more than 30,000 total new people in our Team IMPACT community. This year was full of growth, as an organization and as a movement. We took the national stage, reaching all 50 states and brought our first national brand campaign to life.
As you've seen throughout our Annual Report, the focus for the past year has been to expand our presence in each region, in each community, in health equity, and in partnerships with institutions that stand for the same values we hold true. We’ve laid the groundwork to grow our impact, working to become embedded in the fabric of the healthcare and athletic institutions throughout cities big and small. We are mobilizing staff needed to launch new regions and make new connections; in parallel, we are increasing the bilingual staff and resources needed to ensure every child that could benefit from Team IMPACT has the ability to do so. We have taken the learnings from the global pandemic to ensure that virtual options exist for those who need them due to health or geographic concerns.
To our returning and new donors, you allow us to change thousands of lives every single day. You make laughter possible on the darkest days. You bring light to the family dinner table as a child talks about an upcoming game. You bring perspective to the student-athlete anxious about life’s upcoming transitions. You bring friendship to the child who may feel alone at school but feels at home on the field with their team. You are the heart of this program, and the ripple effects of your impact through this organization will go on for generations.
